EPA Access control system An access control system assures that only authorized persons are authorized to acces to limited areas like an EPA protected zones or manufacturing areas. For the ESD safety it is important that existing personal ESD protective equipment like shoes and / or wriststraps is functional. In combination with the modernEPApro®personal grounding test system it is possible check and document the function of the personal ESD protective equipment when accessing an EPA protected zone. The programmable potential-free switch outputs of theEPApro® ESD Personnel Tester 1000 allow activating a door opener or an access control system. The special functions of theEPApro® ESD Personnel Tester 1000 enable to configurate the access in such a way that e.g. a measurement of the personal ESD protective equipment takes place only once a day. The integrated Multi-RFID reader for personal identification retrieves the stored access rights. The EPApro® Control Server enables to connect the EPApro® ESD Personnel testers 1000 via the company network and to configure and manage them from a central point. The logged data are centrally stored on the server.
